"As an intern with the Senator DeMint’s Charleston Office, I worked with constituent Service Representatives; specifically, I aided in research, taking constituent calls, and database entry into the Senate IQ system. Having the opportunity to actively learn the day to day processes of a Senate office has been an extremely exciting and rewarding experience for me. As a political science major interning in a government office has also given me valuable insight on its inner workings and connectivity. Without a doubt, this will help me pursue my future goals of running for political office.
