LaTasha Chaffin DeHaan joined the College of Charleston in August 2013. Her teaching and research interests are in the field of American Politics with a particular emphasis on examining public policy and bureaucratic outcomes and their impacts on diverse and vulnerable populations. Her research interests extend to U.S. and comparative social welfare policy, judicial policy and state and local politics and policy.  She offers courses in the undergraduate and graduate programs in American Government, Public Administration, American Public Policy, US Political Economy and Human Resource Management. Her work appears in the Journal of Public Policy, Politics and Policy and The Journal of Race and Policy.
