Jessica J. Price is a Visiting Assistant Professor in the International Studies Program and holds a teaching appointment with the Department of Political Science. She plans to offer courses in the politics of Latin America and ethnic politics in addition to teaching in International Studies. She earned her Ph.D. in Government from the University of Texas at Austin, as well as a M.A. in Political Science and an A.B. in International Affairs from the University of Georgia. Her fields of study are comparative politics, with a specialization in Latin American politics, and comparative public law. Jessica J. Price’s research focuses on indigenous rights and indigenous peoples’ protest politics in Latin America, with a particular focus on mobilization in Mexico. Her work is forthcoming in Comparative Politics.
