Credit-Based Internships

College of Charleston political science students interested in receiving credit for local internships are advised to work with the internship coordinator, Kristin Wichmann and set-up their internships the semester before they intend to complete it. The department can assist in recommending potential internships, but students are ultimately responsible for arranging their placements.

Fall and Spring POLI 402 include both a field internship in the Charleston area and a class component.
The Summer POLI 402 ONLINE internship program allows students to intern outside the Charleston area and complete course assigments online.
